Jono tells this story better than we can write it, but here’s the gist.

“Every car I ever owned, I ran into the ground”

Before he got into this properly, that’s what Jono did with every car he had. Drove it until something let go, patched whatever it was as cheaply as possible, kept driving, repeated. Not because he didn’t care — because nobody had ever shown him what looking after a car actually involves, and taking it to a mechanic for routine stuff felt like something other people did. People with money. Not him.

He reckons most people are in exactly that spot. You’ve got a car that gets you to work and the kids to school. You know it probably needs an oil change at some point. You’re not certain when, you’re not sure how much it’ll be, you’ve had a garage find “other things” before and hand you a bill you weren’t ready for — so you just… don’t. And the car quietly gets worse until it’s a big expensive problem instead of a small cheap one.

What we built for that

If that’s you — you’ve got a car, you don’t really know how to maintain it, you can’t fit a mechanic into the budget — we’re the ones for you.

For a small monthly membership you get access to us for the ordinary stuff:

And the part that matters most to Jono: we show you how. Oil, filters, bulbs, wipers, checking your own tyres and fluids — if you want to learn it, we’ll teach you on your own car, so over time you need us less. That’s the goal, not a problem.

The pricing

We’re finalising the exact monthly numbers — they’ll be on the membership page as we lock them in, and they’re built to sit around the price of a couple of coffees a week, not a car payment. One-off servicing and repairs stay available to anyone, member or not, at cost plus parts.

If you want in early, or you just want to talk through whether it’s worth it for your situation, get in touch.
